Ursula Rita Casey Smith papers, 1920-1998.

Collection contains materials accumulated by Ursula Rita Casey Smith, a member of the College of Saint Rose's first graduating class (1924) during her life-long association with the College. It includes college memorabilia, photographs, a handmade photograph album, programs from Rose Day events, commencements, musical and thearer productions and newspaper clippings related to the College and its alumni, as well as clippings related to Smith herself, her daughter, Sister Rose Regina Smith, and her sister, Sister Rita Agnes Casey. Correspondence includes greeting cards, letters relating to the College Alumni Association, and to the upheaval at the College in the late 1960s and early 1970s, memorial cards and cards sent by Sister Rita Agnes Casey to the sisters' parents. Although the collection is broad in scope and spans many decades, it does not reflect the College as a whole, but rather aspects of the College and the effect of the College on Ursula Smith's life.
